Other resources
When I started planning this school year, I poured over many lists of "must read" books for ancient and medieval history. I printed out, obsessed over, wrote on these lists. I cross-referenced with Amazon. I made myself crazy! Finally, I went to our library system website and attempted to find these "must read" books. Somewhat successful, I started to search on the website and discovered a wealth of resources. I was able to let go of my "must read" perfect book list-----and potentially very high Amazon charges lol!
After suffering through some books she really didn't care for, my daughter requested historical fiction books featuring female protagonists. The fiction books listed for Part 4 (medieval) have girls as main characters.
The resources listed below in order of Human Odyssey chapters are what I was able to find through my library system. You may, or may not, be able to locate the same resources.
